As my mortgage was expiring, I contacted Jim Kwon of Innovative Mortgage Solutions, in addition to my bank and began to investigate the renewal process and current floating and fixed interest rates.  Within hours Jim had contacted me via email and attached a short questionnaire to complete which detailed my mortgage needs and concerns.  I responded quickly and was given a few options.  Meanwhile my bank had still not returned my phone call nor emailed a message. I believe I was first introduced to Jim’s wife, Lisa, nearly nine years ago, by the realtor I had used to purchase my first home.  Lisa was wonderful to work with, and I felt completely at peace with her and the service she was providing me.  We communicated regularly by both phone and email until the signing of the papers was upon us.  
We looked at the various options available to me, and I selected a variable rate mortgage that offered me much better rates than the fixed rate mortgages could at that time.  Having previously traded stock options in the markets, I was not at all concerned with the movement of the variable mortgage rates, and given the state of the economy, I did not anticipate much movement to the upside.  I met Jim when we had to complete the paperwork.  Jim was informative and professional while he explained what it was I was putting my name to.  
Three years into my first mortgage, I was interested in refinancing some of the property improvements I had made to my property.  Jim informed me that it was a good time to consider refinancing those improvements through my mortgage.  I asked Jim to get me some numbers that I could work with.  He came in .25% below what my first mortgage rate had been.  After crunching the numbers, I realized that I would save an additional $3,000.00 in interest payments over thefive year term, even after penalty and legal costs, so we made the deal. 
That last mortgage term has concluded, and I have just renewed my mortgage again through Jim, who was able to get me a better rate through a different lender than my former mortgage lender was prepared to offer.  I have been very pleased with the services that both Jim and Lisa have provided me throughout the years, and I look forward to working with them in the years ahead.

I was referred to Jim by a friend in 2006 and since then I have been working with Jim and I would like to share my experiences working with Jim.  The first time I worked with Jim, he helped me to get the best interest rate in the market when we wanted to switch from the previous mortgage broker.
